Application.
The Proline AM3 is the high performance choice for the professionals.Purposefully designed for door set manufacturers, Proline AM3 is made to be fitted as the fourth side of a door frame or retro fitted.
It may be fastened to the frame through the base, or through the side of the frame using the screw ports at either end of the threshold.
Maintenance Friendly.
The Proline AM3 has been designed to be robust and durable, to cope with both wheeled and foot traffic.
The central weather seal is the Stormguard Rio Seal, constructed from one of the most hard wearing and tear resistant materials available.
The front seal is made from ‘Q’LON. Both seals are press in seals for ease of maintenance. They are both easily compressed with excellent memory retention and cold weather durability.
Accessibility.
The Proline AM3 is designed to meet the requirements of Part M of the Building regulations for accessible thresholds, allowing easy access for disabled and elderly people.
The standard AM3 is ideal for use with carpeted floors. The optional clip-in internal transitional ramp allows Proline AM3 to be used on tiled or wooden floors.
The non-slip surfaces ensure a safe grip in wet conditions.
Suitability.
The Proline AM3 is suitable for inward opening doors. It is adaptable to suit all types of floor covering by using the optional clip-in transition ramp.
High Performance For Severe Weather Conditions.
The main under the door drainage channel is as large as possible to cope with water penetration around the door frame seal and threshold seal.
The front drainage cavity has end caps to seal the ends and the offset front drainage holes are well protected from driving wind and rain.
Thermal Break.
The AM3 is thermally broken to meet thermal bridging and insulation requirements.
Usage & Fixing.
The AM3 can be used with many different frame and door materials such as wood, PVCU, fibreglass, aluminium, steel and carbon fibre.
The AM3 can be side fixed or bottom fixed to a frame.
AM3 Frame Infills.
When used in conjunction with the AM3 Frame infill (Aluminium) or the AM3 Frame infill block (Rubber) the frame needn't be milled at the bottom to fit the profile of the sill.
